One Activity. Many Benefits

Imagine what your life would be like if you improved your willpower, reduced your stress levels and increased your powers of concentration.

What would you be able to achieve if you could make these changes?

How would your relationships benefit?

How much more satisfied would you be with your life?

Incredibly, you need to do only one activity to improve your willpower, reduce stress and increase concentration.

The activity?

Practicing mindfulness.

Practicing mindfulness has been clinically proven to improve willpower, reduce stress and increase concentration.

If you find yourself eating unhealthy food, even though you really want to stick to your sensible eating plan, practicing mindfulness can help you to change your habits.

If you choose screen time, even though you know you would benefit from being more physically active, practicing mindfulness can get you moving.

If your focus on homework or tasks at work is waning, practicing mindfulness can get you back on track.

If you are not sure where to start with developing a mindfulness practice, try an app like Headspace, Primed Mind or Smiling Mind. I don’t have an affiliation with any of the apps, but I have used all three and encourage you to give them a try.

Your challenge today is to post a comment here or on Advantage Education’s Facebook page to share your experience with using a mindfulness app, or any other way you practise mindfulness.

Any likes and shares are also appreciated as they help to spread this post to a wider audience.

Now go and have a great life.
